Just taken in on consignment is this very nice condition, Tales from the Crypt Pinball Machine that was released in 1993 by Data East Pinball.
Tag along with the Crypt Keeper has you battle through several different modes of play based off of episodes from the popular HBO TV Series. Tales from the Crypt includes multi-ball, drop targets and ramps. Can you beat all the modes and get to Crypt Jam?
This game was has just been fully reconditioned and is ready to be enjoyed in your home.
In addition this Tales from the Crypt includes the often missing decorative backbox topper.
Tales from the Crypt has no wear on the playfield and looks and plays great! Is it in mint condition? NO....but we think most anyone would be pleased to add this game to their home gameroom. There is some delamination of the translite primarily over the Crypt keepers eye from the translite bonding to the translite glass, but it still presents very well.
Here is details of the work we have done to this machine. – Exterior of cabinet has had a few touchups done by previous owner. – New flipper bats – New leg levelers and leg bolts – Playfield assemblies, ramps, plastics and posts all removed and cleaned. – Entire playing surface cleaned and polished and new rubber rings and balls installed – All under playfield assemblies and lamp inserts cleaned – All illumination upgraded to high quality non-ghosting premium LED’s. – Custom Instruction and pricing cards – Coin door and door handle launcher have been repainted
Electronics and mechanical assemblies went through and repaired, adjusted as needed by our technician team. Tales from The Crypt needs nothing except a corner in your home gameroom where it will become the focal point of entertaining guests and family members.

The original high voltage Dot Matrix score Display (DMD) as found in this pinball machine and many other pinballs between 1991-2016 used a gas filled display that will eventually die out with age. It's not a matter of "if" but "when" it will fail.

Currently the DMD display in this game is working GREAT with no issues whatsoever, but we felt it is worth mentioning this new technology upgrade that really is a vast improvement over the original antiquated technology of 20 years ago that isno longeravailable new.
