Here is a rare one you don't see everyday that we have available now, an original Nintendo Playchoice-10 counter top model. It is much more common to find the Upright version of this game than than the rare countertop model. This game works great and is ready to be enjoyed in your home. Truly a rare collectible for Nintendo enthusiasts. This table top coin-operated game works great. It does show some minor wear on the original control panel overlay and around the edges but still very presentable and definitely a conversation piece for sure. Original 13" CRT tube monitor has a bright clear, crisp picture.

The Playchoice-10 has 10 slots to accommodate 10 Playchoice-10 cartridges. This game includes 6 game cartridges, with the ability for you to add 4 additional cartridges (not include):
This game includes the following:
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

- Double Drag
- Super Mario Bros 3.

The Nintendo PlayChoice-10 was introduced by Nintendo in 1986 as a coin-operated arcade system designed to showcase and players experience Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) games outside of the home.

How It Worked
Timed Play: Instead of paying for lives or a flat game completion, players inserted coins to buy blocks of time (e.g., 3 minutes).
Multi-Game Selection: The system housed specialized expansion circuit boards that allowed operators to load multiple NES-based titles into a single cabinet. Players could switch between games or view instruction screens using the system's menu.
Library: Over 50 different games were adapted for the PlayChoice-10 platform, including Super Mario Bros., Contra, Castlevania, Excitebike, and light-gun games like Duck Hunt.
The Countertop Variant
Design: While the most common PlayChoice-10 units were large upright or dual-monitor cabinets, Nintendo later introduced a rarer, more compact countertop version around 1988–1989.
Portability & Build: The countertop model packed the core multi-game board and monitor setup into a smaller tabletop footprint meant to sit on bars, counters, or specialized pedestals.
Rarity: Today, the countertop PlayChoice-10 is a heavily sought-after and rare collector's item among retro arcade enthusiasts
