Designed by famed pinball designed George Gomez; known for such smash hits as Monster Bash, Deadpool, James Bond, Lord of the Rings & Medieval Madness comes NBA Fastbreak released by Bally Pinball Manufacturing in 1997.

Up to 4 people can play at a time and at the start of a the game each player selects one of 29 NBA Teams they want to play as. The scoring is like the real NBA, unlike typical pinball scoring. The objective of NBA Fastbreak is to get to Trophy Multiball by completing six tasks, win a championship ring, and score as many points as possible along the way. The six tasks are:

• Goals (2PT, 3PT & Free Throw)
• 20 points
• Combos (Tip-Off, Slam Dunk, Alley Oop & Fastbreak)
• Stadium Goodies (Crazy Bob's Concessions, Hot-Dog Mania, Scoreboard Trivia & Egyptian Soda)
• Multiballs (Shoot Around Multiball & Around The World Multiball)
• Power Hoops and Power Points (Half Court Hoops, Hook Shot Hoops, Run & Shoot Hoops & Hoops Multiball)

When all the tasks are completed, Trophy Multiball automatically starts (if the player loses the ball before it starts, it will start on the next ball). The player then has unlimited balls for about 20 seconds. The center ramp is lit for 2 points and the goal is to outscore the "other team". If the player wins, a championship ring is awarded.

Unlike scoring for other pinball games, NBA Fastbreak scores purely in basketball-scoring intervals; progress can only be made one, two, or three points at a time, with the exception of the Scoreboard Trivia. Because of this scoring convention, the game scores drastically lower point totals than other games of its era. 

FUN FACT: 
Although this listing is for only ONE NBA Fastbreak Pinball Machine. NBA Fastbreak is the only pinball machine that has ever been designed so that you can link two NBA Fastbreak Pinball Machines together and play head to head against another player on another machine. 

CONDITION:
This NBA Fastbreak has just went through our refurbishment process and looks and plays great. We have done some touchups to the exterior cabinet. Brand new side rails have been installed on this game. The legs have been polished and new leg levelers and leg bolts have been installed. 

The original playfield is in nice shape with minimal wear and most of it has been protected by factory mylar. There are no broken or chipped decorative playfield plastics. We have installed a brand new center ramp and hoop ramp as well as a new "Defender" plastic. 

Playfield has been stripped of all components on the top side and was then thoroughly cleaned and polished to a high shine. Brand new rubber rings, balls and lights replaced. All under playfield lamp inserts and assemblies have been cleaned and checked for proper operation. All lamps have been upgraded to super premium, non-ghosting LED's.  These LED's look better, last longer and they put less strain on the electronics of the game as they consume less energy.

This game plays perfectly and was serviced by our technician team who have over 25+ combined years repairing and bulletproofing pinball machines.

COLOR SCORE DISPLAY UPGRADE (add +$575)

The original high voltage Dot Matrix score Display (DMD) as found in this pinball machine and many other pinballs between 1991-2016 used a gas filled display that will eventually die out with age. It's not a matter of "if" but "when" it will fail. 

Make your game "POP" with an upgraded FULL COLOR LCD Score Display! ColorDMD score displays incorporate modern low voltage technology with full color rendered graphics replacing the mono-chromatic images as found on the original Dot Matrix Display. This optional upgrade for $575 will include installation of a brand new ColorDMD score display by our technician team on your game.  

Currently the DMD display in this game is working GREAT with no issues whatsoever, but we felt it is worth mentioning this new technology upgrade that really is a vast improvement over the original antiquated technology of 20 years ago that is no longer available new.
