Released in 1992 by Williams Electronics, The Getaway is the sequel to the smash hit 1986 Pinball Machine, HIGH SPEED. The Getaway: High Speed 2 is everything you loved about the original but cranked up to 11! The Getaway features, pop bumpers, 3 ball multi-ball, video mode, kick back and the notable feature to this game "The Super Charger" which propels the pinballs around a loop at the upper back of the playfield at a high rate of speed. The object of THE GETAWAY is to outrun the cops by advancing your RPM's & shifting gears to advance your speed. Get all the way to 5th Gear and you will have achieved the Wizard Mode, RED LINE MANIA. GETAWAY features the hit song "La Grange" by ZZ TOP. This game IS fast action pinball!
This GETAWAY is in EXCELLENT overall condition. This is the first one of these we've had on the floor in 6 years so we don't expect it to last very long as it's such an iconic 90's pinball. We have completely restored the exterior of this cabinet, by sanding it down smooth of any blemishes and then installing brand new sideart on the cabinet with absolutely ZERO sun fade, which is so typical with this title if it ever spent anytime near a window. In addition new side rails have been installed and leg protectors installed at the corners of the cabinet like those found on all new pinball machines to prevent the legs from gouging into the cabinet. New legs have been installed as well as new leg levelers and leg bolts. Playfield has been stripped of all components on the top side and was then thoroughly cleaned and polished to a high shine. Brand new rubber rings, balls and lights replaced. All lamps have been upgraded to super premium, non-ghosting LED's.  These LED's look better, last longer and they put less strain on the electronics of the game as they consume less energy. In addition we have installed a new indestructible Super Charger Sign mounting plate as they are so often broken when we receive one of these games in on trade.
WARRANTY: This game plays perfectly and was serviced by our technician team who have over 25+ combined years repairing and bulletproofing pinball machines. GETAWAY includes a 30 day limited parts/labor warranty.
