Purchased from a local pinball collector that is downsizing is this beautiful BATMAN™THE DARK KNIGHT™ by Stern Pinball. Although we can not confirm this game is home use only, it surely looks like it is by the outstanding condition that it is in and very low plays considering this game is now 22 years old. Game shows no wear on the playfield and no broken or damaged decorative playfield plastics. We have done just a couple very minor touchups to the exterior cabinet. 

All components were removed from the top side of the playing surface and the entire playfield was cleaned and polished. All new rubber rings and balls installed. All playfield illumination has been upgraded with premium non-ghosting LED's. All under playfield lamp inserts were cleaned and all components were checked for proper operation by our lead technician. This game needs nothing but a corner in your home or arcade where it will be the focal point for entertainment.

COLOR SCORE DISPLAY UPGRADE (add +$575)

The original high voltage Dot Matrix score Display (DMD) as found in this pinball machine and many other pinballs between 1991-2016 used a gas filled display that will eventually die out with age. It's not a matter of "if" but "when" it will fail. 

Make your game "POP" with an upgraded FULL COLOR LCD Score Display! ColorDMD score displays incorporate modern low voltage technology with full color rendered graphics replacing the mono-chromatic images as found on the original Dot Matrix Display. This optional upgrade for $575 will include installation of a brand new ColorDMD score display by our technician team on your game.  

Currently the DMD display in this game is working GREAT with no issues whatsoever, but we felt it is worth mentioning this new technology upgrade that really is a vast improvement over the original antiquated technology of 20 years ago that is no longer available new.

Stern’s own Lyman Sheats (RIP) designed the rules for BATMAN™ pinball, and the game designer, industry veteran George Gomez (THE LORD OF THE RINGS™, JAMES BOND™ & DEADPOOL™) created the playfield layout.

BATMAN™  is a perfect pinball machine for fans of DC Comics’ BATMAN™ comic books, as well as the DARK KNIGHT™ and BATMAN BEGINS movies.  BATMAN™ pinball is also a great piece for homeowners, resellers and game operators.

BATMAN™ pinball offers many exciting features, including: The Joker’s Reveal Mechanism, a mechanical cylinder that rotates to reveal and fight a taunting Joker; Scarecrow’s Crane, a mechanical crane featuring a spring-attach pinball which the player can strike with the pinball; the BATMOBILE™Bridge, a teeter totter mechanism that races a pinball against a Hot Wheels® BATMOBILE™; an upper mini-playfield; and lots of multi-ball action.

Pinball Hall of Fame artists Kevin O’Connor and Margaret Hudson created the artwork, and Ken Hale did the sound.

The follow-up to BATMAN BEGINS, THE DARK KNIGHT™ reunites Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale, who reprises the role of BATMAN/BRUCE WAYNE in his continuing war on crime.  With the help of LIEUTENANT JIM GORDON and District Attorney HAVEY DENT, BATMAN™sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good.  The triumvirate proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as The Joker, who thrusts Gotham into anarchy and forces the DARK KNIGHT™ even closer to crossing the fine line between hero and vigilante.
