Released by Midway in 1998 comes the follow sequel to the popular NFL Blitz Arcade game. Blitz 99 features include updated statistics, better graphics and colorful language! This is the real deal, full size, dedicated, 4-player cabinet coin operated arcade game that includes the late hits.

When Blitz 99 was released new it was available in two cabinet styles; a Standard Cabinet which featured a 25″ monitor as well as the Deluxe Cabinet (available here) which features a large pedestal like cabinet and a HUGE 39″ Medium Resolution tube monitor.

This IS NOT the small cheapo “some assembly required” Arcade1up Blitz game sold at big box stores…this is the full size coin operated arcade game.

Currently we have the game set on FREE PLAY so you don’t have to insert money to play, however it could be switched back to coin operation within the games adjustment menu.

GAME PLAY:
Classic video game football without all the annoying rules and regulations. 30-yard first downs, flying tackles, colorful (and sometimes censored) language and late hits are all part of the fun. Players choose an official NFL team, each with unique statistics, and compete in American football games with very few real-world rules. The object of the game is to try and win the Superbowl! This was the first in the series to use 3DFX graphics.

A super addition for a home game room or a commercial location.

Can be set to free play or back to coin-op play within the adjustments menu.

CONDITION:
Received in trade-in is this beautiful condition pre-owned, 4 – Player Dedicated Deluxe Cabinet which includes full factory side art and external Nintendo 64 Chip Reader. We have cleaned under the control panel plexi as well as adjusted and cleaned all buttons for proper gameplay. Brand new BLITZ 99 Marquee installed as well as new LED illumination for the mini marquee on the control panel as well as a full cleaning to the cabinet with some light touchups as needed. This is a BEAUTIFUL example of the hard to find Deluxe cabinet variation of this game.

MONITOR:
39″ Medium Resolution tube monitor has an amazingly bright clear, crisp picture.

Please note, on some pics we have shown of the screen it looks dark on part of the monitor. This is due to the way our iPhone camera takes a picture of the screen and the monitor scrolling. Camera’s pic up the scrolling …but it’s unseen by the naked eye.

This game has been tested and checked out by our arcade game technician. It is working 100% and ready to be enjoyed and become the focal point of your man cave or home gameroom.
