This early electronic pinball machine has just went through our refurbishment process and will definitely be the focal point of attention in anyone’s man cave or home gameroom. This great classic pinball including 4 pop bumpers, 2 banks of drop targets, a loop shot, saucer hole and those iconic vintage pinball chime sound effects. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHISTORY:\u003c\/strong\u003e \u003cbr\u003e1977 was a historic year for pinball. 1977 was the year that most all pinball manufacturers (Gottlieb, Bally and Williams) transitioned from electro-mechanical (EM) pinball machines that had rotating score reels, scoring motors and relay banks to solid state electronics relaying on printed circuit boards to operate the machines. This was a game changer in the pinball industry and Mata Hari was one of the first machines by Bally Pinball Manufacturing during this transition period. Highly sought after by collectors are the rare, electro-mechanical Mata Hari Pinball Machines that were produced in 1977 with a total production run of only 160 units, while the new solid state Mata Hari such as this game being offered here were mass produced in 1978 with a total production run of 16,260 units.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eIs this game in MINT condition? It does exhibit a few very minor scraps and scratches to be expected with an original vintage pinball backglass but still presents very well. See the pic of the back side of the backglass to see its condition. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eCabinet\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e– Original paint scheme was touched up by one of her previous owners, it looks pretty good and we've touched up a few areas as well to the best of our ability. Exterior armor has been buffed and polished and a new Bally foil decal logo installed on coindoor to give it a nice touch. Brand new factory gun metal grey pinball legs, leg bolts and leg levelers have also been installed. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003ePlayfield\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e– This is an original playfield in nice condition with minimal wear. We have fully shopped the playfield out by removing all components on the top side of the field and installed brand new rubber rings and ball. In addition brand new pop bumper caps have been installed. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eElectronics\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e– This game is running on a new Ultimate MPU board upgraded with NVRAM with the removal of the original NiCad battery that are prone to leaking and damaging the MPU board. NVRAM will never leak! In addition this game has a solenoid driver board and a new Lamp Driver Board so that this machine can operate on LEDs. The entire game has been upgraded with premium LED’s. These LED’s look great and consume less power which is a great upgrade for any pinball machine.
